The Stem Nut is the critical transmission component that converts the
rotational torque of the handwheel or actuator into the linear thrust required to cycle
the valve. Engineered to endure extreme mechanical stress, our Stem Nuts are the "muscle"
behind the operation of Rising Stem Gate and Globe valves.
Precision-machined from high-tensile bronze alloys (such as Aluminum Bronze or Manganese Bronze),
our nuts are designed to prevent galling against the steel valve stem. This ensures smooth,
non-binding operation even after long periods of inactivity or under high-pressure differential loads.
Key Features & Benefits
Manufactured from specific wear-resistant alloys that provide natural lubricity, preventing seizing or damage to the valve stem threads.
CNC-cut heavy-duty threads (Trapezoidal or ACME) ensure efficient power transmission and minimal backlash during operation.
Engineered to withstand the full axial load of the valve wedge/disc against high line pressure without stripping or deforming.
Available in various configurations, including shouldered, flanged, or cylindrical designs to fit specific yoke assemblies.
